When it comes to YouTube, most entrepreneurs getting into content creation on YouTube miss the mark when it comes to understanding how to best use the platform.
YouTube has many layers to it and one of those layers is best utilizing the real estate space they provide you on your channel home page.
Always be thinking of the viewer's experience of what they're seeing "above the fold".
Before someone ever scrolls down to find out more of what you have or what other videos you have, your channel header, channel trailer, channel trailer descriptions, and the links to your website are all the different areas of real estate data and space YouTube provides...
Have you ever wondered why video creators end up buying so many lenses when they buy a camera?
It's because better lenses equal better quality video and higher quality video is a game-changer!
However, if you don't want to buy a ton of lense for video, I'm going to share with you how to take a prime lens that has one focal length, like the Sigma 16mm lens, and turn it into a 16-24 f1.4 zoom lens FOR FREE!
On an actual zoom lens, like the kit lens that comes with any camera, there is a range you can actually turn the lens and zoom in and out.
What we've experienced on our phones for a long time is a digital zoom, where you pinch and zoom in or out on your phone.
With new phones, like the Google Pixel 5, you now have multiple lenses on your phone that no longer digitally zoom but operate similar to a regular camera and switch between the lenses to get you closer or further away from an object without moving or losing video quality.
In today's episode, we're going to be jumping into the common question that I often get, which, depending on who you ask, you oftentimes can get different answers.
However, I want to give you the most accurate answer for the most specific reasons when it comes to why I say you need these seven must-have features if you're an entrepreneur and you're deciding on a camera to buy to answer the question, "What camera should I buy for video?".
Too often, people choose a camera based on the price first, instead of the features and the things that they need versus the price.
So, I want to address the question of "What camera should I buy for video?", even if you're new, even if you already have had a camera and maybe you're upgrading these will be universal features that I believe moving forward for where we are right now.
Moving forward, these are the things your camera must-have for video if you're an entrepreneur.
When it comes to the original Canon M50 versus the Mark II there really aren't a ton of differences between them. And there has been a lot of changes in the camera industry that really makes this camera fall flat I think.
I think that is not an upgradable camera at all.
I will honestly say, consider moving to a different system like a Fuji or a Sony. Even some of Nikon offerings are a bit better, and I'm gonna be covering in a future video some of the options that maybe you could consider that meet some of those advanced creator's needs and entrepreneurial needs when it comes to content creation. But let's not all be doom and gloom here.
Let's really cover some of the new changes that they've made into the mark two. And whether or not this is something you should upgrade to, which I use that word very loosely.
